Parking at the Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood is no longer free. Visitors who self-park in the garage will be charged $12 for one to four hours and $15 for four to 24 hours. It will remain free to park for one hour or less. Your thoughts…..SMH

I posted the other day that Bellagio (and I assume other Mlife properties) was free (I think 4 hours) with my Nevada DL. Just stuck the DL in the machine and they let me out.

Caesars doesn't charge Nevada DL holders either. I think they all learned from the pre-pandemic times that it made no sense to charge locals as there are relatively few of them inside Strip garages other than during big events and VGK games.

They should just charge by the minute. I lived in Chicago, payed that way there. At least there was some logic to it. Locals should get free parking everywhere in Vegas, plenty of tourists even during the pandemic.

This is just another notch in ElDorado's belt of disassembling any perk that CET offers. When they are done it will be just a shadow ghost of the empire it once was when all the players leave them.

I have never felt compelled to pay someone for the privilege of doing business with them. Case in point: My agency has an office near I-15 and Russell Road. During our monthly meetings, it because a ritual for us to go to lunch as a group to the buffet at Mandalay Bay. Then they started charging $9 to park. We started going elsewhere. Because they insisted on gouging us for $9, they lost around $250 in monthly income for the hotel.

If it's free for locals why do you say it costs $9? I don't understand. Do you have not a Nevada DL?
