I've read round about living, and moving to LV, I'll be moving there in Feb. and I basically just wanted to get an idea about this area? and if its a nice area, The homes I'm looking at (to the bottom left of the star) are fairly new I believe its 2 years old nice 2 story 3 bed room homes and just wanted to get your input on the area, with the likes of traffic,crime, just general area.

Nice suburban neighborhoods. Strong elementary schools. Middling Middle School and High School.

I would expect low crime.

Traffic may be a nuisance as the infrastructure in that area is not well developed. Likely bottlenecks on Racetrack. Need a local for a real opinion on that though.

It is near the older part of Henderson, not much shopping near by, but a Target will be opening later this year. It should be very quiet over there though.

Thanks, I thought it would be near the older parts, From what I've seen it looks good tho. still a few houses being built and what not, My main concern is basically the crime issue. I read a few places that the older part isn't the best or like the downtown Henderson area, So I'm not really sure where my place falls in there.

not to bad of an area. wouldn't say high crime. crime is everywhere so you never know. close to boulder highway, not to far from 215 - 95. close to boulder city and back road to lake .... so good location to travel from. I have some of my pest contol customers in the area and they like it. plenty of local's casinos in area..... hospital not far away. mall within 5 miles.....

There is some good places to shop and eat not too far from there.

I look forward to checking it out, thanks for the information, I know theres the mall and shopping about 10 or 15 mins. away, so thats aways good, I like a nice peacefull area.
