What shows have you seen recently?

We went to see iLuminate at The Strat. It was very good & lived up to its innovative reputation. https://www.iluminate.com/about-iluminate/

I give it 2 thumbs up.

I've been slacking lately in the shows department.

I really enjoyed the Kyle somebody Elton John show at
Mosiac. Unfortunately, that venue closed last month.
I also saw Wow at Rio, loved the theater and the show.
Hubby and I saw Iluminate a few months back...also enjoyed.

We do have both Fill-a-Seat and Houseseats so I'm sure we'll
see some more soon. I think we did about 7-8 shows in the last year
through Houseseats as well as 3-4 sporting events.

I went to see Kenny Loggins at the Encore Theater (Wynn). Nice venue, very good sound, excellent show. The place was packed (no empty seats that I could see). I got Covid a few days after the show, pretty sure it was from being in a large crowd of people, none of whom were wearing masks (including me).

I'd like to see Christopher Cross, but not sure I'm going.

We went to see Lady Gaga, at Park MGM at the end of April and both got Covid despite being Vac'ed and boostered. Not sure if it was from that or if we had it before, it was mild but was in bed for 3 days. I will say it was worth it, as she was incredible.
We are in our 60s. Yes, I would do it again, I'd just wear a mask.
We have tickets for Big Bad Voodo Daddy, in November, at the Orleans. I can't wait!
Ben Vereen is coming to the Smith Center, Jazz Cabaret, on June 9th-11th. We saw him the last time and it was one of the best shows we have seen in Vegas! We have seen Elton John, Cher, Lady Gaga, Harry Connick Jr., Jimmy Buffet, and a ton of others, and Ben Vereen ranks if not tops them all.
I love this town!

My most recent show was Penn & Teller, at the Rio. Prior to that I saw 3 different Cirque du Soleil shows, Mystere, O, and KA. Enjoyed them all.

A month or so ago we saw Katy Perry at Resorts World. She puts on an amazing show - incredible production. And the Resorts World theater is new, nice, very comfortable and great acoustics.

A few nights ago we saw Nikki Glaser, the stand-up comedienne, at the Virgin just off the strip. We really like stand-up comics, and she didn't disappoint at all.

Update:
It looks like Piano Man - Tribute to Elton John & Billy Joel by
Kyle Martin has found a new home at the V Theater in the
Planet Hollywood's Miracle Mile Shops.

Good for him, more exposure and a bigger theater. Tickets
were just available on Fill-a-seat.
