I came from Boston, and a lot of street names there are meaningful or have an origin.

Vegas is lacking in history and still a rather young city relatively. I was driving around Henderson, and notice this block of street name with a coffee theme.

French Roast street?
Freshly Brewed Ct?
Double Shot Ln?
House Blend Ln?

LMAO.

I guess the developer is a caffeine addict.

Some thers:

Crystal Ship Ct
Cosmic Dust St

There are lots of neighborhoods where the developer put in a theme. I live next to the Beatles streets.

Magical Mystery Ln
Hearts Club Dr
Yesterday
McCartney

Next development over has Tahiti, Samoa, Polynesia Cir, and Kona

I don't mind Magical Mystery Ln! Beatles theme is not bad at all.

At work, we name all our server computers to either the seven dwarves or classical painters.

No question about it.

Columbia, Maryland has the most ridiculous street names.

I think I've driven on those, and did a double take when I saw the street signs.

Strange things happen when you have to come up with a lot of street name quickly.

Elvis Alive Drive

Top THAT!

Incidentally, Sedona, AZ has a "Coffee Pot Drive" with side streets of "Grounds," "Maxwell House," and "Sanborn."

If I had that street on my resume, I will be judged and not get a job outside of Vegas!

We were up at Mt Charleston yesterday and noticed that we were at the corner of Snow White Street and Seven Dwarfs Road, that definitely cracked me up.

(I used to live in Columbia, MD though, and those streets were always pretty trippy)

(Incidentally, all just south of "Lucas Ave.")
