Todai is a chain and not very high quality. It's cheap and should be avoided if you are looking for a premium buffet.

Whataya kidding? Cheap? No quality?

Sheesh man. $32 is more then any other buffet in Vegas that I am aware of and the quality is as high as it can get. It better be at that price. a

Only thing that sucks in Todai is the deserts but that is because Japanese all eat lousy deserts. No chocolate anything.

Go on your birthday. It is FREE !!!

Ya gotta love sushi though. Even if you dont there is plenty of seafood available.

Todai and Makino are both chains, but the quality is pretty good in my opinion. I guess to each of their own.

The Japanese don't eat chocolate?!? You've got to be friggin' kidding me! Google Japanese Valentine's Day, and see what it says. For those who don't feel like looking it up, women give me gifts on Valentine's Day, and me return the favor a moth later on White Day.

The World Buffet at the Rio is pretty good.

Well you sparked my interest. I looked it up and Japan is not even in the top 20 in chocolate consumption. USA was in 11th place.

Well lets do this another way. ALL buffets have very very lousy deserts. Just mass produced junk. Oh the smokers dont know the difference and gobble it all up because they have no taste buds but a true chocolate connoisseur usually picks up a few desert items and one bite later drops it. Our eyes are bigger then our bellies. They look good but are real real bad.

Both Todai and Makino do not have any chocolate at their buffet. The closest thing are some chocolate chip cookies that can double as hockey pucks. I love both these buffets dispite the poor desert choices.

You are very right though about the World Buffet in the Rio. I have not been there since the major remodel though. The Village Seafood Buffet also inside the Rio is even better. Mostly because I love seafood and dispise meat. But at $38 the price is rising faster then gas.

They have a chocolate fountain that you can coat fruits with. I like their Almond Brittle, very good. But I agree, Asian deserts are not as good as their Euro counterparts.

Hiya,

Green Valley Ranch and casino, and also a great night out on the ranch (shops and plenty of other places to eat)

I believe I have been to all of them and I think that the best all around buffet is at the Orleans.
Green Valley Ranch is pretty good also. On the strip as indicated the Planet Holly tops them all.

Quantity isn't everything. It's the uniqueness of their Valene's Day traditions that I was commenting on. The fervor on both sides can be quite funny.

I just wish that I could get taiyaki here in Vegas.

Default Depends....

Price wise, the Siverton Buffet is quite good on Sundays for crab legs etc. The Champagne is great. Mimosas, Bellinis, raspberry, mango, passion fruit, champagne, are all good! $1995 per person or 2-1 with a coupon!

Experience wise.. Bellagio and Wynn.
For a great Sunday Brunch the Paris is excellent although pricy.
Also nothing beats IMO the Ballys sterling Brunch, but it has to be the highest priced Sunday brunch in town!

If you are looking for decent food at reasonable prices.. then I say any of the station casinos during the week. It isn't a large selection but most of the food is great!

MOst disappointing.. anything with Coast in the name..LOL
