any thoughts on how this will help(or hurt) land values in Vegas? Kingman,AZ.?

It will not help at all.....for now. All well and good, their intentions are good but like anything NDOT has their greasy mitts into, they screw it up.

Once you get over the bridge you are right back onto Horse and buggy trails. When they ever build the entire bypass around Boulder City, well now your talking.

There were a lot of real big dreams over that bridge. Jim Rhodes invested millions in land and preliminary infrastructure down there already as well as KB and Pulte but it is all on hold. The main attraction was one could buy an inexpensive home and commute to Vegas for work. That whole area down by Rosie's would be an extension of a Vegas bedroom community. I love the idea.

But that theory was before we started seeing our property values falling like a rock. Will homes ever be built down there? LV property values would have to skyrocket again for that to happen and I really dont think any of us can say that. Not even a strong uptick in LV will get those homes built down there.
