Iowa is grain fed cattle country. Delish. There used to be wonderful supper clubs near Iowa city and just west of there. Its been 30+ years since I was there. Wonder if they still have them. Fabulous food. Do not remeber a single name of one.

Oh and dining in the Amana Colonies was divine if you liked home cooking. Much better quality than Cracker Barrel, or Bob's Ranch house.

Wish I could remember the name of the Italian place here we ate with some friends, they picked. On Saraha, close to the Palms in the back corner of a stip mall, guess its been there for a long time. It was good!
I already did. I asked the mods to delete the messages between us, but no one did.

It can be fairly hard to find. It's in an area of a lot of stores, etc with with winding streets (not sure winding is the right word). We ate there with friends and it was excellent.

Easiest way I tell people to find it is to go to what would be the back side of Guitar Center and there it is.

Nitpickiness... LMAO. These folks think the redevelopment of Badlands Golf Course is being just that. Blind leading the blind via tunnel vision on here. What is the point of being on a forum where logical opposing views get the "troll treatment". I think its the reverse actually. They can't state their one way assertions in the real world so they join these forums to railroad anyone that stands out. Hurry hurry get my posts deleted then go suck your thumbs. Sounds like a bucha old farts in here without a friend in the world.

What is the point of coming in and calling people hypocrites and old farts for talking about food? Many of us here have and do, interact with each other offline as well as on here. I've met and mingled with over a dozen of the regulars. If you want to ***** about your golf course, start your own thread.

Have a nice day.

1) They didn't believe certain "truths" I revealed in the Real Estate thread. Truths that came from my own personal experience and shared here re: Queensridge being full of problems. They don't live in QR, but I do, and they think they can school an actual resident on how it really is in there? C'mon now.

2) People still meet up from message boards? I know it was big in the 90's but, ok. You basically missed the whole point with the thing I said about the "regulars" and it is not really something I feel like typing out since it should be self-evident.

What is self evident would get me a board vacation. Your posts are simply not worth that. Welcome to the ignore list. Don't bother to respond because I won't see it.

Have a nice day.

There was ONE actually owned by Greeks called Mykonos in Sun City Summerlin but they closed. The cause, according to the owner? Greek food does not compete well with 'Italian' in Vegas. Too bad, because the owner made a heck of a Moussaka from scratch... and where else are you going to get that?

Go to Milos at the Cosmo for upscale or for more regular fare, go to Market Grille Café on Lake Mead or Durango. I'd stear clear of Yassou or Paymon's though.
