Now from the beginning I thought you were serious about moving to Vegas, but later on you wrote that you are still narrowing down between 3 places. Are you having second thoughts? You really have to be determined and have made a final choice in order to go through with this move. Think everything through, which state you really want to move to, and are you really gonna go through with it.
The most important thing is to have some money saved up so you can survive while looking for a job and a place to live. You will not be able to afford your own apartment unless you want to live in a pretty bad area with a low salary. But there is always PLENTY of places where you can roommate for 400-500$ month with all utilities paid.
I believe anything is possible in this life if you try hard enough and never give up, and I'm also a big supporter of risk takers. We live only once so why the heck not take chances? Anything can happen in this life. Well I wish you good luck in your adventure if you are going to go through with it.

Amen to that. The economy is tough EVERYWHERE and people are still making positive things happen for themselves everyday! Use common sense but follow your heart, Only you know what is right for you.

There are a lot of cell phone stores up around by where I am (8000 block of W Charleston)--I noticed that one shopping center (I think it's Boca Park, there's too many for me to remember!) had four different carriers (Verizon, AT&T for sure, then two others I don't remember), all pretty much next to each other. I remember thinking I could have any carrier pretty much, and be able to walk to the store. I am shocked as well as loving how many retail stores there are out here.

I'm pretty sure I'm on the border between nice and not-so-nice areas, so my rent is really good still, but I'm not in a dangerous area. We pay 1096/mo. for a 1100 sq. foot 2-bedroom, that we split between three people. It's really spacious, and everything in it is brand new (gorgeous black GE appliances, granite counters, pretty tanish/mocha walls, etc) and the complex is gated, 24 hour pool, fitness room, tennis court. It almost seems too good to be true. If you're looking for an apartment I'd try camdenliving.com, we love the company so far. But, we did look at some other complexes initially that were NOT recently renovated, and it made all the difference in the world. I'd either recommend ours, (Camden Canyon) or call someone at Camden and ask which complexes were recently renovated. I think there were two others. There are also several other complexes next to and across from us that have signs saying "recently renovated, washer/dryer" things like that that make it seem like they're all similar to what we're in.
