I've been searching for somewhere to live in Vegas for the past few days. Pretty much seen as many places as I can fit in. It's narrowed down to a few places but we're finding it tough to pick one. I only thought of this site now and people here are always great for information.
Can you help me decide between:

Coronado Bay Club
La Villas Estate
Esplanade
San Tropez
Savannah Apartments
Copper Creek
Cabrillo

Is there any that I should cross off straight away? We're hoping to decide in the morning as we're pretty tired of searching. I've checked what I can about these but hoping I can get more info here.

We're 2 adults mid-20's, 2 pets, recently moved to Vegas (and US), looking for somewhere safe mostly and generally decent.

I appreciate any help. Thanks.

They all look pretty good except for Copper Creek. That one had a lot of bad reviews.
The rest are in good area's, so flip a coin and pick one.
Also Esplanade is listed as condo's. Condo's can be better to rent. If you have problem neighbors, the owner can do something about it. Versus a management company at apts, you are lucky if they take care of things.
Also, if you aren't aware of it yet, most apts will charge you pet rent every month. If they never come into your apt and don't check, tell them you have just one pet. Works especially well if one of your pets is a cat that hides under the bed every time the doorbell rings.

BUT don't try it if your cats like to sit in the window when you arent home

You know, I never really thought about that part!
I bet the times I lied about just having one cat, they actually really knew. Both my cats always liked to sunbathe in the window. And it was the window facing the stairs coming up. Good thing I rent no more! I can do what I like.

Show me a cat that doesn't parade itself in a window and I'll eat yer hat!

That's good advice, especially from my experience since my neighbors and I in apartments gave up on the management quite some time ago after numerous parking, noise, and litter problems went untouched. Something to think about as my lease renewal comes up...

I was curious as to the reason why you recommended all of them except for Copper Creek? The reason I ask is that I am moving to Vegas in 3 weeks for work purposes and this is an apartment I am considering. I read the reviews from http://www.apartmentratings.com/rate...per-Creek.html and they didn't look too bad.

If you have any other recommendations in the Henderson/Silverado Ranch/Green Valley areas I would be glad to hear them. I am looking for something in the $600-800/month range. Also, anyone know of any apartments with attached garages besides http://www.resortatcoronadoranch.com/?

It was because of the bad reviews as to why i did not recommend Copper Creek. It was from a different website than aptratings. Can't remember where. Only one good review. If you want to live there, then go for it. Just see if you can sign a short lease in case you end up hating it, then you are not stuck there.

There are 9,826¼ apartment complexes in Las Vegas. It would be nice if people would give an address when they ask about which ones are best. You can't expect people here to have lived in all of those, so the location is going to tell more about it than anything.

Boy, am I cranky today. Went for walk at Tule Springs and it was too hot even for the dogs.
