Are there any cool used book stores who have book buyers in them I moved here from portland and I miss powells book store. I want to support my book habit with my old books. Anybody understand?

yeh, i believe there is a book store on east desert inn that buys books...or if they are graphic novels, comic books, etc...there is a place at Eastern/Warm Springs

Well, not used, but that's good too. What kind(s) of books do you have? Sadly, I don't know about the used book stores here in Vegas. I was in a Borders today, but didn't get anything. The store was crowed by a book signing.

There is nothing even closely resemblng Powell's books in Las Vegas. The one that lvkewlkid mentioned, Albion Books, is closed. Mostly what's left are mom and pop used book stores. You can find them in the phone book, but I know there's one next to the Trader Joes at Sahara/Decatur and next to the Jimmy John's at Rancho/Charleston and another one on Maryland south of Tropicana. Good luck! Maybe you can open a Powell's type place in Las Vegas. Too bad this isn't a particularly literary city. Literate, maybe, but not literary.

Well, not used, but that's good too. What kind(s) of books do you have? Sadly, I don't know about the used book stores here in Vegas. I was in a Borders today, but didn't get anything. The store was crowed by a book signing.
