Ever notice mostly those kind of people never actually LIVE in Vegas.

Same ones who tried to ban smoking here, out of state interests trying to crash the housing market and influence laws so they can take over another state. No thanks.. we like Nevada just the way it is.

I don't care if my house is worth 10 cents, I plan on living in it.. not treating it as an ATM.
Absolutely brilliant post Chinga! I could not have said it better myself. Tried to rep but must pass it around first.

second, yes i'm 70k in the hole on the house, BUT it is a rental and the tenant is paying the mortgage, nothing out of my pocket, actually after taxes and such, i am $50 up per month
I too am between $65K and $80K in the hole. Bought in Jan 2005 for $315K (about $20K under market at the time) and now worth between $235K and $250K. Not planning on going anywhere anytime soon, so any equity or lack thereof is really of no consequence to me at this point.

You can have NY... Along with it's bitter cold winters, overpriced APARTMENTS, rude people, and overweight-overly agressive ball busting women. NY is a s*hole.

You gotta admit my posts stimulate a lot of interest!

"87 posts, read 65,361 times" That's over 750 reads per post.

Who tops that?

You may not like NYC but when people will pay $500k for a 500 sqft studio, you can't argue with the numbers.

A lot of us, your totals are nothing special.

$500 for 500 sq ft? The polite term for that is developmentally disabled. Even "President" Short Bus wouldn't take a deal like that

If I was planning on buying and then selling immediately it wouldn't have been in Lovelock and it wouldn't have been such a beautiful home.
How come the value of my house went down but my taxes went up?

Has this site been posted? Too many to look through. I don't know how accurate it might be, but the technology amazes me.
