That's right. Whole Foods bought the Wild Oats Chain and now there are three or four smaller Whole Foods as well as the large ones. They carry the same items, just not as much of it. There are probably more per capita of everything that you're used to in Las Vegas. You're not moving to the boonies. BTW: Fresh & Easy made a big deal about opening in SoCal right before they opened here.

Over on Decatur/215 beltway here in the north/northwest, there is a Steinmart and a Costco in the same shopping center. Makes it nice and convenient. There is also a Best buy, assorted other stores, Walgreens, Salad Creations. Across the street is the Walmart supercenter plus many other smaller shops, food, etc.

Fresh & Easy does have a good selection of produce...they usually have whats in season the most. So it varies as the seasons do. I like that.

Pink I was up thataway the other day and saw that Salad Creations. I was in a hurry so could not pull around to see what it looked like. Have you been there? Some one told me it is a weigh to price restaurant. They were popular in Canada. Fill your plate and weigh it to pay.

Soup or Salad or Sweet Tomatoes is pretty damn good but is getting old to me.

Anyone been to Salad Creations?

Seems to me like someone you know was just guessing as to what Salad Creations is. I've eaten there twice and take out once. It has enough tables inside, is on the smaller side, nothing like Sweet Tomatoes.
Go to their website at saladcreations.net. It explains it all there. I like their prices, big salads, wraps, fresh homemade soups and more. When you first go in, they give you a card that they punch each time you eat there. After you fill a card, you get a salad or wrap for free. I think they are open til 9pm.

I think a more interesting question would be what chain stores that are found in Cali are NOT found in Vegas?

I found you can trust Sweet Termaters, but I don't trust Souper Salad. I believe they spray preservatives on the food that will make you sick. I think it was there that someone added ground glass to the salads one time. Never heard of Salad Creations though.

It's another franchise, but it's a good one. Inexpensive vegetarian food, you can't go wrong. The portions are big. I always buy the junior salad and to me it's a lot to eat at once along with a serving of soup. Their soup is also really good. Low on salt. If you are avoiding it, it helps.
