I am an ex nycer as well.. took time to get used to getting around, and yes I broke down years ago and got a vehicle. Now I drive all over the place.

I think there are busses that run up and down the strip and if worse comes to worse you can always call a cab

I have a few friends who used Job Connect to get pretty decent jobs.. they offer a good service and the trop is fairly easy to get to as well.
Uh, Chinga...you do know your user name is the "F" word in Español don't you?

Muy bueno. You do speak Spanish very well. Mi no hablo Español, mi hablo a little Tex-Mex. Mi Español es muy malo. So I think I know what you said but you may have insulted me too for all I know. Anyway, I can order another beer and find the bathroom in Mexico.
Pero, Chinga, oye mi; my dictionary doesn't have your definition, only the dirty words.
We had a dog we named Chulito, or Chulo for short. When I'd tell some people his name they would look at me like why would you call your dog a pimp. Others would see him pass by and say, "¡Ay! chulito", which is why we called him cutie in the first place. So ya can't win can ya?

Just before I got to my job in Laredo they had a lady that had been doing an interview show there. One day she was interviewing the mayor of Nuevo Laredo, across the river, and after they spoke in English for a while she asked him if he wanted to say anything in "Mexican"...that was the end of her interviewing career.
