There is automaticly a $20 airport surcharge for airport PU or DEPART. The drive itself Im going to do a pretty close guess at $25.

I think we have a Taxi Driver on our forum here who may chime in with a dead on number for you.

The taxi rate for any trips depends on the route the driver will take.
Northbound I-15 is under construction and might add greatly to the price as a taxi's meter runs on time and distance. If you do go with a taxi, don't let him take you up to the northern beltway and through the airport tunnel as that will add to you price. Its better to go up MLK but it might also be backed up due to construction and rush hour traffic
I recommend calling up a sedan service (small limo) from and to the airport.
They will greet you at the airport, help you with luggage and drive you up with a flat rate in a nice clean and comfortable sedan.
The company I have been using lately is PSS (Personal Sedan Service) and they charge $59 + gratuity for airport pickups. I believe that's as low as you can get for sedan service. Its about the same rate for where you're going, if not less, than a taxi, without the worry of being "taken for a ride" or long hauled and without possibly long taxi lines.
Their phone # is 702-248-7706
They do accept credit cards

It's probably cheaper to rent a car.

No experience here at all in regards to Taxi's. How does out Taxi pricing compare to other major metropolitan areas? Are we high? Low? What if you wanted to go from JFK to Central Park, Google maps shows the distance as 19 miles, and shows the distance from McCarren to Nellis as 16 miles, so I think thats an even compare.

Humm -
Taxis: $45 flat fare (plus tolls) to any Manhattan location.

yea but the taxis in Vegas charge an automatic standard fee just for getting in then I believe 20 cents for every 1/11th of a mile...and as posted before if your getting in at the airport there is another fee just for that
