New here, made a post in another thread but thought of more to ask.

If I won the Powerball or Megamillions, the first thing I'd do is buy a condo on or close to the Strip. Love the atmosphere and energy. I've seen some opinions here on Turnberry Place, but haven't looked around much on these boards yet. I'm intrigued by the MGM Signature condos, because I live the MGM Grand and it would be basically like having a vacation home there. I understand the Signature towers are conected via moving walkway to the MGM Grand itself-is that right? And the access to the pools, restaurants, shops, spa, monorail and the rest of the Strip would imho be a blast. I'd have no intention of participating in the rental program. What are the drawbacks of Signature?

I'm also interested possibly in Sky Towers, Turnberry Place, Turnberry Towers, and Panorama Towers. I'd like a nice balcony with great views, a decent amount of space...I could spend $379,000 for a one bedroom at Signature on up to $2 million. What are the major pluses and minuses of the places I've listed? My wife and I would have our small dog with us, too. Wondering which places would be convenient to walk the dog a bit. Also, we wouldn't live there full time, but would spend a good portion of the winter and a week here, week there. So I wouldn't want to feel like I'm in a hotel room. Which is why I mentioned Panorama Towers. Seems like one could get around 2000 sq ft for a million bucks with a huge balcony, and that would have an appeal, like it might seem more like a home. But I'd like to be able to walk to the Strip, and that seems to be impossible from Panorama Towers. I also saw a place for sale in Turnberry Towers with 4 bedrooms for around $1.3 million. Having folks being able to stay over and not in a hotel would also be nice. Anyway, your tips are much appreciated.

If I won the lottery I would buy a hotel on the strip. Maybe two.

does it really matter? you still haven't won the lottery, yet at the end of your post it sounds like it...are you trying to actually find out the truth and want us to answer the questions or do you not have the money and wasting everyone's time with a fantasy?

all that aside, i think all of those would be difficult to have a dog...

its sad that most of these places have become vacation homes, because it makes it probably feel like a ghost town for the owners that actually occupy as a first home and now feel they made a bad investment because you are the only one regularly there and the rest of the tower is consistently empty...

Sounds great to me to live in a building that's nice and quiet and empty. I wish I had that now. Instead too many people crammed into a small neighborhood with too many barking dogs. When I win the lottery, my mansion will be at least 1 mile from any other homes.

If I were to win the lottery, I would buy an apartment building, rent it out, and live off that income

Does Vegas even have a large lottery like powerball or megamillions?

Just do like half the population does: Drive to the border of Calif or Arizona and buy lottery tickets now and then. I go every 2 months and 10 days. I'm due for another run the weekend after next.

Obviously it's a fantasy. How is it a waste of your time? Are you a real estate agent that I personally contacted? Sheesh, get over yourself!

All that aside, I think anyone buying a Las Vegas condo, especially on on or in proximity to the Strip, would have to realize that most people use them as vacation homes. Wouldn't bother me at all...more room at the pool and the gym. Lots of retirement communities in Florida have "snowbirds" who are only there in the winter.

When I'm in Michigan visiting folks, I get Mega Millions tickets. You can get them for 20 consecutive drawings.
