Hi all,

Can anyone recommend a really good bakery in Vegas that specializes in tasty birthday cakes? My twin sons turn 10 this Friday and I was looking for a cake other than the run of the mill cakes you get at Albertson's/Cosco etc.

Thanks in advance!

Freeds kept poping up in my google search. I'll have to give it a try. Seems their website is down though.

I noticed that. That's why I gave you the Yahoo site. I've actually never purchased a cake there, but have eaten them at many an office party, and they are delicious. You can really taste the difference between theirs and ordinary cakes. What part of town do you live in? No matter how far you have to drive it will be worth it.

i see that you live in SW Las Vegas, it may be easier for you to take 215 East to the Freeds location at Eastern and Richmar, otherwise it is just as easy to take 215 to the airport tunnel, make a right at Trop or Russell and you will be there in minutes...

by the way, their site is working now, at least for me...

Thanks for the directions!

I am at 215 and S. durango, so either way sounds easy enough.

Take the airport tunnel. If you go all the way to Eastern on the beltway it's going to be a lot of traffic and stop lights to get to Trop.

Buzz, if he takes the freeway to Eastern, the Freeds is at Eastern/Richmar, won't have to worry about the lights to Trop...they now have 2 locations...
