Any ideas? I haven't been to any mexican restaurants yet, but sometimes there are other restaurants that do great nachos too.

Thanks for any ideas!

Roberto's has the best and if you want to try something different get the Carne Asada Fries, they are like nachos but with fries...

I also have friends that love the nachos at Mariana's

You probably dont want to make the drive, but the best nachos I have had were up at the lodge on Mount Charleston. If you are ever up there, you've got to try them.

I will definitely try them-we are planning on going there soon.

I am too lazy to even drive to the other places, but I did check out the menus and they sound good.

I think I might try the nachos at Half Shell. It is close and the reviews are good for them.

Thanks for the ideas!

There is a Mexican joint squeezed between 2 furniture stores on Stephanie St. It helps if you speak Mexican when ordering (IMO - the best kind of Mexican Restruant).

229 N Stephanie Street Henderson, NV 89074.

Faustos

Naco's at the half shell are really good but get the haf order. Even the half order is ENORMOUS. Oh, and that place in the plaza with Albertson's (kitty corner) called Fausto's has REALLY good mexican.

Just got back from Half Shell. They were very good, but I could have used more crab-it was YUMMY and I am not a big seafood person!

I will definitely try Faustos next time I have the craving!

Glad you enjoyed the Half Shell. You know, the Equestrian got Fausto's for that "Dinner on Us" day last month. They had all different types of mexican tacos, burritos, enchilada's and stuff. We just happened to be at the big pool when we saw Bill walking in with it and told us to get some. I was under the impression they only did chintzy dinners like hot dogs. Couldn't make it to this month's but I am gonna try and see what they do next time. It was really nice.
