And all this interest in dueling pianos at the various venues in town just adds more amunition to my contention that Vegas is great for low cost or even free entertainment.
Sure, but is that what you did while vacationing here?

There are free things everywhere, but if you want to have as much fun as you had while visiting it's going to cost. Gambling [x] drinking [x] shows [x] fine dining [x].

YMMV

If you enjoyed visiting Vegas then you'll probably enjoy living here. Beyond the strip there are places open late or even 24 hours so you can entertain yourself or visitors whenever you want. I came from the midwest and really enjoy the diversity of people here. I like to know that I'm in a city where people visit all the time to relax and let loose.

I had to learn to control my partying and other sins but now that's in control (sorta) I am pretty happy here.

Situating yourself in a new place is a pretty big decision so weigh all your options. Sometimes it take a little soul searching to find out what you truly want.

Now behave or all your practical questions are going into the garbage can.

Actually, yes, I did. Not exclusively, mind you, but my wife and I went there a couple of times. They have a great 241 happy hour with entertainment, albeit with only one piano player in the afternoon. But I got 2 pints of Guinness for something like $4 - $5. Can't beat that! Back home, that would have cost me $13 and the only entertainment would have been the tv behind the bar.

Of course. And as I stated previously, I completely agree with your contention that people with money will have more options than those without and will be able to better take advantage of all that Vegas has to offer. I was just disagreeing with your contention that Vegas is a more expensive city for entertainment. Most cities do not have the range and variety of free and/or low-cost entertainment that Vegas offers.

There was probably a long line to get into the ladies bathroom....and she was lazy. your lap was more convenient.

Still made sure to place my jeans in a plastic bag and back into my luggage.

funny... .. but id have to say id rather use a stranger's lap than a ladies bathroom in a strip club... or bring lots and lots of disinfectant, and about 12 toilet cover seats, and still hover....

Proper use of checkboxes, sup bro. Maybe I'll have to find me some of this free and/or inexpensive entertainment.

Omg, I so agree with you. First time I went to a strip club, I did not realize that the ladies restroom is usually their dressing room!!! Talk about being uncomfortable! It was quite nasty!
