No wonder they don't make them here...the steering wheel is on the wrong side of the car!

Ford has some great products in EU, such as the Mondeo, Focus and Fiesta. The EU Focus is a much better car than the one they sell here. The Fiesta also comes in a fuel miser diesel that gets 65 MPG. Why can't we make this car here?? Something is going to have to drastically change. I guess its up to the American consumer on what they really want? Relax the taxes on diesel so it costs the same as Reg. unleaded, then you can really see savings in the wallet without having to rely on hybrids and their higher costs.

Here is a link if you like to look at that car, its a nice looking car too!

The 65 mpg Ford the U.S. Can't Have - BusinessWeek

That is a very cool looking car! Looks like something I'd like, especially since I really want something BOTH American and fuel-efficient.

The gov't may not let The Big Three go down...but they might let the weakest of them fall.

FYI: It's 8%. That's the highest it's been since 1984. But what the news weenies don't tell you (because, like the so called "VegasMan" they are Johnny-come-latelies and don't know anything) is that prior to that it had been a lot higher. It was on it's way down in 1984, and heading back toward normal (whatever that is). Maybe it will hit 10%, but it's a ways from it right now. The point is, it has been higher than it is now and we survived. Has there ever been a time in the history of the world that people didn't look for entertainment to cheer them up when things were gloomy? NO!
