I think the lousy service is what gave Michael Tata a heart attack at such an early age. It was either that...or that ditzy assistant of his.

actually the REAL Whiskey Petes was a gas statin with a few slots out at Stateline [south of Jean on I-15] it then became a 'casino' at stateline.

Try working there...........LOL. Im leaving due to Ive been there for about 3 yrs and only moved up in seniority about 8 people. Its not necessary to speak English so the people who don't speak it aren't in any hurry to change jobs where your required to KNOW ENGLISH so they will stay there until they either retire or immigration finds then and deports them. The whole overall concept about Station Casino's is great, but the individual departments and managers that run them leave alot to be desired. Its about time for some new competition to come to town and maybe they will get off the high horse.

I was disappointed by GVR when I first went there. After visiting a few of the Station Casinos around, GVR seems more like a slightly better version of Santa Fe or Sunset Station - unlike Red Rock which is in a whole different, higher class. Haven't been to Aliante yet.

Just went to RR for the first time a couple weeks ago. I really liked it. Although, it is basically set up the same as GVR.

I also went to Silverton, I thought that place was great! I didn't gamble or buy anything there though, just walked around. I love the country, rustic feel to it.
