Well there are a couple high rises in the area some are on the strip and some are right across the street from it.

Panorama Towers is super nice. Then you have Turnberry, Allure, Sky Las Vegas, Newport and Soho lofts,etc...

You can get pretty decent prices if you want to rent a unit, you just have to find that hidden jem.
But you will be paying more than you would in an apartment. But I think its totally worth it.

My apt is right by an exit gate. I see people climbing them all the time. Or squeezing through the gate. Ok, it doesn't make it easy to hoof a 52 inch projection tv over but I also see many vehicles sitting outside the gate waiting for someone to go through so they can get in.

If there is a criminal that wants your apt., he will most likely know how to get around a gate.

That happens about twice a minute at every complex with a gate, even they are even locked. Unless it's a GUARD-gated place, not just a remote or key pad.

LOL.......GATES only provide a false sense of security. Especially, since former tenants know the codes or someone can easily follow behind and get access. We were having robberies here every couple days, and our community is gated up! I would suggest asking mamnagement before renting if
they have any community meetings for safety, or night security. My manager does both and I feel pretty comfortable now.

Wow I didn't realize there were so many crooks in Vegas... Over here we leave all our doors unlocked and sometimes our garage doors open and nothing happens. We don't live in a gated or security place either. There's really only one gated neighborhood in my city and that's only so that they can be like "we're better than everyone else" Lol

Ok so new appproach........

ANY PLACES ON THE STRIP THAT ARE NICE (clean) AND HAVE HUMAN SECURITY?

Yes, but the rents start at $3,000/mo.

Human or roving security patrols are also kind of pointless in a way too. I used to live in a place that had security guards and they were usually just creeps who used to whistle at neighborhood girls as they got in and out of their cars.

alright, since i live in the area, LVBS/Pebble i will give you some insight on the complexes that i know of over here....EVERYONE AVOIDS THE VILLANOVAS LIKE THE PLAGUE...there's a nice complex between Wyndham and Cancun that has free wi-fi, but the name escapes me,

my sister was at a complex behind the Vegas Pointe Plaza that was gated, every other week the gate was driven through so each time it was driven through, it took long for them to repair, her tires were also slashed there, but i do remember it was a nice complex

another one that seems nice (although i do not know) is the 2 complexes across from the South Point at Silverado Ranch west of LVBS...

my sister is staying at a nice complex right now at Eastern/Warm Springs, i believe its called Aviata, its really close to the Strip, safe, quiet, and gated, even though you can follow the person in front of you...it also has the optional garage, i believe and the apt is so spacious it feels bigger than our home
