it doesn't help your reputation to start 2 threads with basically the same topics...

Don't assume that because an apartment is gated that it is safe.

Gates get broken and sometimes take days to be fixed. Anyone can follow a tenant in through a gate.

There are decent looking apartments on the south end of the strip. I don't know if they are safe or not. But check out the places that are around Silverado Ranch Blvd and Las Vegas Blvd. Can't remember what they are called. There is another place over in the same area called Villanoma or something like that, but they are section 8.

Well ya but does that actually happen? Are there any relatively safe apartments on the strip that are pretty decent? Or atleast close to the strip so I could have a good view. I want to be able to hear the hustle and bustle on the strip.

I don't currently live in Vegas (I did 20 years ago) but it has happened in the the two apartment complexes (in Reno) that I have lived in, so far.
