I had one of my clients close 2 weeks ago at Inspirada - Estate home and doing a walk thru for a client at Ladera in S. Summerlin this week. Dependable builder, and clients have been pleased. Prices cannot be beat at the moment.

Thank you. We looked at 4 in Mountain's Edge last April. Liked them alot but didn't like the sid fees. We are thinking about a KB home in Villas at Huntington which we have not seen yet.

Had one once in other area and worst home builder I ever had. Service was awful. Why not buy a foreclosure with a better builder somewhere in the city.

I have a KB Home no complaints. There are currently some great deals on new homes from all builders that would give foreclosures a run for their money.

I am skeptical that the new homes will give a foreclosure a run for its money.

Some people want new and that is OK...but the economics is overpowering if you go for the foreclosures in the hard hit areas. There are any number of places where you can find the foreclosure and new build in the same tract...the foreclosure is generally cheaper.

There are about 30 REPOs in Huntington Village. Down to about $130K.

I heard today from a friend for example. A builder somewhere out in Henderson in some area starting with an I that a relocation company has a listing for around 270 and the builder has the same house next door for 360 so tell me that a person can't wheel and deal with a company with no sentimental value like a relo company and get a better deal than the builder can give.

I would not buy new now for all the tea in China. What if the builder files bankruptcy and just moves away with unfinished homes and or subdivisions. Very risky. There goes your warranty and your equity. I heard that some builder that is national did this and just abandoned an area in Southern CA and said not building now with only 75 homes built in a project proposed of 350 homes. Left high and dry were the homeowners. AND I would not buy a KB home due to my last experience and I was not alone. This person should check out KB here on the web. Ole Capt what is that web site that tells you about builders and complaints from customers. I think you mentioned it once.
