Might post some pics later. If anyone is ever looking to throw a large party I highly recommend the Orleans' Stardust suite. We're already planning on next year's Super Bowl festivities to be there.
Thanks for the update. I've been assessing possibilities for a large party myself. Will have to look into the Orleans's Stardust suite. This is especially helpful since my friends and I are ALL big fans of buying our own refreshments, etc.

Redwhale...my fiance and I are hoping to throw our wedding reception party at the Stardust. It looks wonderful. how many people coming and going would you say could hang out in it. Did you have to order everything from their catering? We wanted to order the buffet from them but were hoping to bring in some snacks and stuff on our own. They say you have to use their catering...but wondering if you think we could bring some stuff in on our own? who monitors what you are bringing in? Thanks so much for any info you know!

The Stardust was imploded a few years ago. The owners were building a new casino to be called Excelcius but it has been on hold now for almost 2 years.

Default Outside Catering?

Redwhale,
How did you get away with having outside catering at the Stardust Suite. Everything I've seen you have to go through the catering dept. to reserve the suite??

I am planning a reception at the Stardust Suite and was told that I have to use the hotel catering service, with a $3500 minimum. I too would like to know "how" to rent the suite and provide my own food and drinks. Please advise, it would be most appreciated. Thanks!
