I just found it to be a little crazy that all those metro cars came tearing up the freeway headed towards the 215 and Durango exits, first time I had seen that in a month of living back here, and they didnt all come up at once, it was about one squad car every minute

I know crime occurs everywhere and more likely than not, it goes on behind closed doors in CH, it was just a rant is all
Are you across from Centennial Hospital?

Maybe the sirens were someone needing dire emergency help and they were headed to Centennial Hospital.
I have a friend that lives right next to St.Rose hospital, and she said after awhile the sirens are just background noise. So Davie, give it time. Soon a siren will just be something you hear but don't pay much attention to.

Just got back from my 2nd late-nite walk this week with my ferret Stripper.

I'd sure like to know how many ferrets I've sold, worldwide, as a result of my exposing tourists to my ferret. How many times have I heard: Gotta buy me one when I get home!

Tonite I ran into some Australian tourists who were in awe my little Stripper, they all had to hold him, take photo's, apparently they're quite rare back in Australia, but 2 of the tourists are going to see if they can buy one they get back there.

Of course, there's the Californians who envy me that I can walk my ferret openly on the streets. They're still illegal in CA, but, despite that, there are untold # of ferret owners over there, ferret food sold in the pet stores, but they can't walk them down Hollywood Blvd. or out in Malibu or Venice Beach.

Always an enjoyable evening on the Strip with my ferret!

Another one bites the dust. Local talk radio is becoming a thing of the past.
