Must've been pretty bad.

I've been missing her reviews of the SW. She's made several restaurant recommendations that were spot on, never a bummer in the bunch. She's a very helpful member, and I hope the black cloud parts ways soon..

I know I'm the clueless newcomer, but I wanted to know what the area around Lake Nellis and Mead is like as far as living around there.

There are livable areas north of Nellis. South of the new VA Hospital.

There are a couple of livable complexes just outside of Nellis off Craig but the neighborhood is very bad. So you end up trapped inside the gates.

Thank you, I had not even considered living north of Nellis since I thought that the base was about as far north as you could go.

There is extensive new development in the triangle formed by I15 and the 215. Pecos and Tropical and there about. Very appealing to vets with the VA hospital and Nellis.

Great info. I see that siegel suites, rubix, and eagle trace apts. have horrible reviews. (Around Nellis and Craig).

From what I have read, you could not pay me enough to ever stay at siegel or budget suites.
