For any of you wanting to try the Beyond burger at Carls Junior or Del Taco...today only, what's left of it...go in, and say "Happy Birthday Beyond" then order a medium drink. This vegan burger is usually $6.69 at Carl's Jr,so it will be free today only. Medium drink is $2.49 which includes tax. Not bad for a meal. It was pretty darn good too.

I'm seriously considering going vegan. I'm going to try the Beyond burger soon and punt the practice of eating animals completely. Thanks for this message!

I started a thread in the Food and Drink Forum on Food Poisoning. I read all 8 pages of it and now I'm too scared to eat out anywhere, except my kitchen. Food poisoning from eating a hamburger at McDonald's?

My neighbor bought some food at Whole Foods Deli, along with a can of soup, and she doesn't know if it was the can of soup or the Deli food, but she was out of commission for 3 days and lost 5 pounds!

Las Vegas is one of the most vegan friendly places in the country!

Man, being in LA makes me really appreciate vegas.
I got woken up to the most annoying birds I've ever heard and a dude mowing his lawn at 7am.
None of that happens in Vegas. I'll keep my calm quiet heat.

Did you notice the $4.50+ gas?

Sounds like L.A. sucks for living there, Vegas would trump living in So-Cal anywhere. Burton Cummings of The Guess Who lives "up in a canyon" in Sherman Oaks. He likes it - he loves a record store in L.A. downtown called Amoeba Record Store. He says he can spend an entire day looking at records and CD's there. Absolutely huge selection. That's a draw for me, too, though I don't have the income to live in L.A. I'll stay here in Alamo.

I actually found gas for 3.79 after I filled up... I was ticked off.
Oh well. The weather there was worth it. Had the windows open in the house and the car. No ac needed. Steady breeze.
I might just move over yonder when the kids graduate.

Great pictures, EA! Those certainly attract me to L.A. I've heard it's hella expensive ta live in Los Angeles and they drive like maniacs. Not a suave mix for me.
