In other news I FINALLY got hold of someone at the unemployment office today. Apparently my claim is “in adjudication” because of the 48 hours of unused PTO on my final paycheck. They have “absolutely no idea” when I’m going to start getting any money. But that I’d get a nice lump sum for back pay once the adjudication is clear

Glad you got through. I was certain that was the cause. Just hang in there, it shouldn't be long.

I was able to buy 30 rolls of toilet paper online for my Mom and her boyfriend instead of hunting around town again.

^ Did you buy a car yet?

I just enjoy looking at, building models of, watching YouTube reviews of and driving cars. And, buying new or gently used cars.

Mrs.elkotronics, however, does not. My mind keeps harkening back to the hot 2016-19 Ford Fiesta ST. I also like the new 2020 Kia Forte GT.

Mrs.elkotronics loves the Kia Soul and I like it too. I can see us getting a gently used 2014-19 Kia Soul 6-speed stick LX in a year or two. Or, I get a wild hair and go make a play on a 2020 Kia Soul LX 6-speed stick any week now. Don't hold your breath following elkotronics and his car pursuit game, now.

If you're the fidgety type I'll literally drive you bonkers!

^ LOL, I asked because I still can't decide whether to ship my car out here (I moved here in my Sportsmobile RV) or have a friend sell it for me back home and buy a CPO car here.

Of course, shopping for cars is quite difficult these days. Just moved from my Airbnb to an apartment near the Lexus dealer on Sahara. All those beautiful cars just sitting there waiting to be adopted!

Oh, and then there's Carmax almost directly across the street. Turns out my boss's husband is the General Manager there. Can't shop there either of course. It's very strange driving by every day. It's like a car graveyard.

Out here in Los Angeles we’re seeing more and more stores carrying TP. Mostly due to limiting the number you can purchase.

Luckily my husband and I have bidets if it comes down to it, but I'm on the lookout for my older folks. I found some Clorox wipes but still looking for TP and hand sanitizer for them.
