Last time I was in Vegas, the cab driver took me to the airport, then said 'where are you from?', I told him, 'they don't tip from where you're from?' I gave him another dollar.

Is it really mandatory to tip the cab driver?

I understand long-haul means long trips but I don't understand how the driver has any control over the length of his fare if he has been dispatched by the dispatcher. What am I missing?

That's sad to hear it has happened again. So many driving jobs are really crappy. Even with a CDL, employees are exploited to the max.

is it mandatory? no but the cab company is already taxing the tip money whether received or not...

i cannot believe someone would not tip a cab..

Long hauling is taking the scenic route. We're taxed 23% on our gross book. No, A Cab is geo resrticted to pick up on the west

Looks like I'm going to have to take out that title loan on my truck. I plan on paying at least a couple months rent.
