Okay, so who's going to be the first person to post something controversial to get him going? It's been so very, very dull ........... Possibly something about the valley running out of water or a prediction on the housing market.

I don't care what he posts as long as the 50+ crowd doesn't start writing about their colon troubles again.

Last night I got on my bike, biked over to a neighborhood pub, for a 2am nightcap. Was talking to a patron there who had gotten a DUI 6 months ago and I urged him to invest in a bike, to avoid any future DUI arrests.

He was telling me you can get a DUI riding a bicycle. Horror of horrors!
Here, I've been thinking, all along, by biking to a nearby pub, that would never happen.

True or false?

As to colons mine has already been shortened enought that certain discussion with the lower intestine are required for long naps...

I have more than sufficient provocation...I am just busy. Early next week I should have time to contemplate seriously some of the ongoing error..

Don't know about NV traffic laws...but here in NY, it is absolutely true. A bicycle is considered just another vehicle on our roads.

Before even finishing reading your post I was going to tell the answer is yes. You can get a dui on a bicycle, horse, even a bar stool.

YouTube - Drunk man crashed motorized bar stool and received DUI 38 mph

Other than the bar stool (that was a joke), this is absolute bull sh IMO. I called the police department before and they confirmed it.

Got a source?

Driving I think requires an automobile. You may be able to get a public drunkeness arrest or such...but you ain't driving.

Back when I traveled a lot I knew a veteran airline pilot who stayed drunk whenever he was not going to fly. Rode a bike drunk through most of So CA. And never got another DUI...which would have likely ended his flying days.
