Became a statistic yesterday.... add me to the unemployed list
Well.... yesterday I became a statistic and I will be receiving unemployment for the 1st time in my life!! WOW.... I wish it wouldn't have happened at all BUT since it did I sure wish it would have happened in the summer,so I could spend it off with my daughter. I KNOW I will have a job before then. I PROMISE not to come on this site and complain about the LACK of jobs... lol Well... don't quote me on that. LOL
I am a firm believer that EVERYTHING happens for a reason and I have faith that I will find something even BETTER then what I had. However, I also believe that God helps those who help themselves sooooo .....

I have a degree in Radio/Television Broadcasting and a background in communications. Experience doing video production and my last job was in marketing. Prior to moving to Vegas I worked in the non profit sector. If you know of anything PLEASE let me know. I'm open to all types of employment... I can do it all. lol Basically my job experience is all across the board. Very marketable...

I kind of knew it was coming. They let 5 people go at the main office on Wed. So I was prepared to start looking. I just didn't know the other shoe would drop THAT soon. My boss was practically tearing up when he told me and kept saying I'm so so so sorry. I just sat there thinking hey what are YOU about to cry for... I'm the one being let go!! LOL
