I haven't been to a doctor in several years. They never measured my height when I used to go. All they wanted was blood all the time. I think they were really vampires.

LOL, tell me about it! I have to get my blood drawn every 10-14 days. Although it's a lot easier procedure here in Vegas than it was in D.C. When I used to go to Quest or Lab Corp, the waiting area would be packed and I'd be lucky to get in and out in under an hour - and that was with an appointment. Here, every time I walk in to the Lab Corp on Sunset, the place is empty (or at most one or two other people) and I am out of there in 5 minutes.

I go to Quest on Rainbow....it take an hour....no matter when I go...

When I was in the 8th grade I was 6'5 1/2 " tall.....now I am 6'4 1/2" tall....I used to be the 2nd tallest in our senior class...at our 50th reunion I was the 3rd tallest....

Well, if your insurance allows you to use Lab Corp instead of Quest, I'd suggest you switch to the location I use:

https://www.labcorp.com/wps/portal/!...irection=false

As I noted before, I go every 10-14 days and I've never seen more than 2 people waiting. In fact, I usually walk into an empty waiting room and am taken right away. So if you're currently using the Quest on Rainbow betweent Hacienda & Russell, or even if you're using the one on Rainbow near Flamingo, you'd be better off switching even with the longer drive time.

You might start thinking about adding more calcium and vitamin D to your diet.

Every morning when you get out of bed, really stretch, first with your hands to the ceiling, s t r e t c h .
Then stretch those legs, do a few touch toes. And if that doesn't work, we can stick you on the old stretch rack used in medieval times for torture, and that should get you back to your tallest height pronto.

Just takes me two minutes each monday AM before we start the IV. I guess the good news of a PICC.

Back a while I had a port. Just ram a needle into the old chest and bleed away.

Not sure whether these things are progress or not. You only get them if something is really screwed up.

Went around with my surgeon today...who I think is close to the best in town. Boil it all down he has no idea why the left leg is giving me trouble. Done the procedure a couple of thousand times and has never seen it before.

I don't care for being a pioneer.
