Are you sure it wasn't one of the anniversary celebrations at our park? Before the HOA took full control, we used to have yearly celebrations with concerts and fireworks every May. Never had the 4th of july there ever. The Jubilee on the 3rd of the month has always been at Seastrand Park in El Dorado.

It is hot here in El Paso now and the humidity is high because we are having thunderstorms. I planned on a cool, literally, dinner tonight since it is so hot. I made this salad along with some cold sandwiches and it was delicious. It sounds disgusting but it is delicious and refreshing. Here is the link. Try it, you will like
it. I used the kalamata olives instead of black olives.

Maybe you're right. There were fireworks and it was hot and there was a concert. But it was Nature Park.

Looks good...sounds good...but my rule with any melon is eat it alone or leave it alone. I know I'm no longer allergic, but my stomach remembers when I was and it made me sick.

I have been surprised to learn how many people are allergic to fruits and vegetables. I no longer bring fruit or vegetable trays to the office for that reason. Two of my staff have allergic reaction to melons and avocado.

I watched "Into The Storm" last night on DVD. It's about Churchill. As soon as he won the war and saved those limeys lives they very ungratefully kicked him out of office.

Watch the video I posted above and see if you don't get tears in yereyes.

Default Something interesting yesterday

I went to this place yesterday after Red Rock, it was at Decatur and 95 called "SuperStore" I heard it on 98.5 that they were advertising stuff super super cheap (jeans from $5) I thought there HAD to be a catch and there was, $5 to get in I might as well have gone to the Target across the street and get a pair of jeans for $13

Anyways after that I headed up to one of those do it yourself carwash places at Decatur and Vegas Drive. While I was washing my car there was some mexican guy trying to sell me "high end" cologne. One of the bottles in particular was called "Liquid Panty Remover" That just made me laugh, some stranger was trying to sell me liquid panty remover. Needless to say, the cologne smelled great. Still didn't convince me to buy it though. He wanted to charge me $20, online it sells for $70 plus $15 for shipping

Just thought I'd share a lil anecdote on my adventures here so far
