I found a couple natural pain killers available without a prescription, they were called Cannabis indica and some little poppy grown in turkey...said to be readily available on almost every street in America. 1 may cause weight gain due to munchies, the other may cause weight loss due to being slightly addictive and forcing you to eat out of dumpsters. Other than that they're fine

Does anyone have any experience with Holy Basil? Read about it recently but worried about any side effects or drug interactions.

Well I bought all three in tincture form this morning, only cost $22. Hopefully they will help me.

I have heard heroin is a great pain killer. Still, no thanks.

I meant to say "produced" in times of stress by the way. It can slow blood clotting time. That is the only side effect I'm aware of. However, my blood clots just fine and I take holy basil pretty regularly as does my girlfriend.

I saw this on FB today:

"It's impossible." said pride.
"It's risky." said experience.
"It's pointless." said reason.
"Give it a try." whispered the heart....~Beate Diep Hansen

We have gone from 90 degree weather in Mexico, to 30 degree weather in Ushuaia, Argentina (the southernmost city in the world) and then back to 90+ degree heat and humidity in Brazil, and I am ready for some normal weather. The most interesting weather was the 35 ft waves and 70mph winds as we sailed around Cape Horn. I can not imagine how 16th - 19th century sailors did that trip on much smaller ships!

It has been a very fascinating trip and I have learned a great deal about the history of South America (specifically, Peru, Chile, Argentina, Uruguay and Brazil).

Well, now that I have recuperated from last month's trip to South America, I am in the travelling mood once again. As today marks my one-year anniversary as a retiree, as a present to myself and my wife, I just finished booking our next trip: We depart next month for a few days in Miami followed by a two-week transatlantic voyage from Ft. Lauderdale to Rome, with several interim stops in Portugal, Spain, and Monte Carlo. We will then spend a week in Rome (a city I love, yet haven't been back to in over 15 years) before flying back to Las Vegas in late May.

We're then going to reverse the process in November by flying to Rome first, spending another few days touring southern Italy, and then boarding a different cruise ship for a return transatlantic voyage to Ft. Lauderdale and then a flight back to Vegas.

Now this is why I retired!
