P.S. I do not mean this an insult. It took me years to grow up, wait, I still haven't.
Im not a prick, but I am poor. When I said "like me" I was being sarcastic

When I say that I am poor, yeah I make $13 an hour and get 40 hrs a week, but the amount of bills I have leaves me very little left over. And in today's society you need to make a minimum of at least $30k annually to be considered economically secure. How many of us actually are?

Aren't you forgetting about your tips? With tips you will easily exceed $30,000 a year.

Sounds pretty good to me.

Or did you just see the headline and not actually read the article?
That’s one of the reasons why there is always camera coverage on the house phones in the hotel / casino. Too many idiots in the past making bomb threats on the courtesy phones.

Learn to live within your income. When I was making $8 an hour. I still managed to put some away for savings.

You live beyond your means. Now please stop whining about it. Be happy. You have free will to change your lot in life. Sell your car and get something that's paid for.

Your pay is more than adequate. I don't even make 20k a year and I live very comfortably. I take vacations regularly, eat delicious meals and do not feel deprived at all. The poorest Americans are still wealthier than the majority of the world.

My bills only total about 1k a month and I take care of my car. Never had a single major repair bill to take care of out of the blue. Likewise I take care of my body and it takes care of me.

When he approached my vehicle, I unfastened my seatbelt in anticipation of handing him my driver's license. And then? Oh, I see you aren't wearing a seatbelt! Another infraction?

Driving in an unsafe lane, no insurance card or registration (my glove compartment is locked and I can't open it without a screwdriver).

He was very suspicious, why, if I lived near DI/Pecos what I was doing over those parts at 1:30am. I showed him nocturnal ferret who can't handle daytime heat and I was 1 of 24,000 nightshift workers, sleep all day, up all nite. He reprimanded me for walking my ferret in the parks at night, that there's a closing time to be observed.

"So let me get this crystal clear! A nightshift worker is not allowed to walk his pet in a park at night?"

Well, you can well believe I'm going to fight this all the way to the bloody end and I will go to court, again and again if must be!

So, we walked around the lush green Hughes Corporate Center instead. No signs posted you can't walk around that area with a pet at night.

I get the feeling the cops on the west side are as vicious as the Henderson police, as 2 years ago I was grilled for riding my bike down Charleston at 2am.

Next time I read of a police officer being laid off in the valley, or anywhere else, on goes the helmet, you know, jumping up and down with joy!
I hate to say it but driving on the shoulder in the middle of the night alone is going to draw immediate attention to yourself. Then not having proper documents is just asking for additional fines. He is also correct that many parks have closing times. You can fight it all you want but I doubt it would do any good whatsoever.

Hardly, a majority of what I have done at the Cosmopolitan has not been tipped work, its an extra $100 a week if that, a majority of the summer Ive made jack spit for tips

To Spraynard Kruger, I am actually no longer living out of my means, Ive done the math and I should be able to save at least $400 a month. Expenses keep coming up, even with my rent, utils, car payments, car insurance, gas, cell, and CC bills my total monthly expenses are roughly $1200-1400, I earn close to $1900 a month now
