So the Cosmo is turning into another City Center in other words.

Sure, market to the 20 something adults with little disposable income and no interest in gambling. Who ever thought this one up? Where do I subscribe to the newsletter?

We went there yesterday to have a drink. It was empty. Two bartenders were standing behind the bar. No cocktail server was working. One bartender finally came out to ask one table what they wanted. Never came over.to ask us. As we are leaving he asks what we are having. I told him we were having our drink somewhere else since he was too overwhelmed with work to wait on on us. No wonder they are failing. Too many employees standing doing nothing with very few customers.

We went to the Cosmopolitan last weekend and will probably not go back unless someone in town is visiting and they want to see it. They need to revamp their image and actually make it welcoming for people that are older than their 20's. I never felt so out of place in a casino until we went there.

the big problem is how unhappy the employees are there also... we were promised so much and nothing was delivered... management of the departments is in shambles... they just got rid of 90% of swing shift housekeeping... so instead of your room ready at 5pm (which is terrible).. guess you will have to wait till 9 or 10.

3000 rooms less than 150 housekeepers... ummm.. doesn't work.

Do I have my stats wrong, but I thought I read that only 30% or less of the tourists come here any more to gamble. All vying for that 30% of the tourist trade?

It's not just the 20 something adults with little disposable income, that's pervasive of any other age groups today, IMO.

Just checking in, gang. Married life is going well, but my back is killing me. No, nothing of the nudge, nudge sort. I did a back flip out my seat in 223 on Wednesday, fell a couple feet, and landed flat on my back. Can you all say ouch? Now if you'll all excuse me, I'm going to take a pain pill, and go to sleep.
