I don't know about that but I do know that Ibuprofen is a non steriodal anti inflammatory drug and they are known to cause kidney damage if taken in excess or used regularly over a long period of time.

Found English Dave and his wife last night on Fremont St. Crazy! What are the odds, in all those people, that they would be where they were, at that time??? They are both very nice. He is so funny and you just gotta love an English accent!!! (that's how we guessed it was them!) I don't know what you do, with no car, for two weeks on Fremont, though. I can think of some things, but not to last that long. Expensive long flight, so might as well make vacation last as long as you can!

lvd-I hope you are feeling better soon. Tooth pain is the worst.

Small world! How fun that you ran into them.

Kimba- Easy enough to take a bus or cab to the Strip or even to one of the Outlets. From someone who used to stay Downtown a lot.

I am finally going to be back in Vegas for a short visit this winter. I am so excited, can't wait.
We have put our plans on hold as far as buying a place there and becoming Snowbirds again.
I have been the caregiver for an elderly parent since we sold our Vegas property and started spending winters here.
Brrrrr..I don't like missing the sunshine, but being with mom is not something I would give up for anything.
We didn't plan this in the retirement picture, but it is what it is.

Vegas..here I come..and the cowboys will be struttin' in their tight jeans when we are there. NFR!
Eye candy...I may be old, but I am not dead!

I did not know that. I was just in so much pain I did not know what else to do.

Ok everyone, I went to the dentist. I got a prescription for antibiotics for the infection and Vicodin for the pain. I already feel much better pain wise. The dentist told me I need to take better care of my teeth as my problem was caused by poor dental habits.

Also excessive amounts can cause bleeding/perforation of the stomach.

Yeah, when I used to have an extremely poor diet and acid reflux disease, I couldn't go near Ibuprofen or any of it's counterparts as my stomach would feel like it was being torn open.

On the other hand, if LVD is chronically abusing alcohol, large amounts of tylenol could be extremely dangerous. Taken at the same time with booze could even spell death.

No medication mixes well with alchohol. I am glad you went to see the dentist LVD. Try to stay off the alcohol while using the Vicoden.
