I am half German and half Russian. No wonder I am a drunk.

Are your parents from Germany and Russia?

If I could speak any German I would say hello. But alas I learned French...so Bonjour...or more appropriate Bonsoir.

My great grandmother was a Czech immigrant that settled in Texas. Her husband was German. On each side I have German. I've heard that most Americans have some German heritage. Maybe it's all that drinking that created the prosperity???

Ah look at that, I know wiki...but it's at least 99 percent correct!

Add me to the list.

You know what they say about Germans, don't you?

"You can always tell a German, but you can't tell 'em much!"

Well, I'm 1/4 Austrian, that's close, right?

On a related matter, I've always thought I was 1/4 Russian as well because my father had told me his mother was Russian. However, my uncle was in town last week and he told me that that was wrong and that his mother was actually Ukranian. I asked my father about that and he said that's probably correct.

I say this not to harp on you LVD but because I would like nothing more than to see you get back on your feet.

Yes.

I think I get it. Its much easier to do nothing. Even making a change for the better is hard. I don't think it's really can't as much as it is wont. And if that's the case, no one can help LVD but himself.

The night I met him? He was running all over the place talking to anyone who would listen. He was extremely social extremely happy to make new friends.

That's the frustrating thing about bi-polar. The two ends are so extremely opposite.
