Speaking of which, I just got back from Spain and although they have locations all over the country, interestingly, they're all called
Dunkin Coffee. Same products, same store layout, different name.
I did some checking and found out the reason for the different name is a trademark issue.
Donut is not a generic term in Spain and there is a bakery that has had the word trademarked for 40 years.

Sorry to hear that. The economy is so much worse than mainstream media will report. At least two people a day show up at my place of employment asking if we are hiring. My thought bubble is this........."Hiring?! We are hanging on to our jobs for dear life."
