I'm more a fan of their coffee, than their donuts, but they're both good.

Speaking of which, I just got back from Spain and although they have locations all over the country, interestingly, they're all called Dunkin Coffee. Same products, same store layout, different name.

I did some checking and found out the reason for the different name is a trademark issue. Donut is not a generic term in Spain and there is a bakery that has had the word trademarked for 40 years.

Well, I got laid off today. Since it doesn't hurt to put it out there...If anyone has or knows of any opportunities I'd always be grateful for a PM.

Sorry to hear that. The economy is so much worse than mainstream media will report. At least two people a day show up at my place of employment asking if we are hiring. My thought bubble is this........."Hiring?! We are hanging on to our jobs for dear life."

I'm usually so numb when someone says they've been laid off today, since it happens so often to so many, I become speechless! No emotion, no nothing, doesn't hardly register anymore! How sad!

I've seen the parade of people leave my place of work, over the years, and those whom you've gotten close to, that hurts to see them go!

But what surprises me is the lack of follow-up. I ask: have you heard from so-and-so? How's she/he doing? I think many don't want to know, it would be too painful to know!

Let's just pray you were able to set aside some rainy-day funds to tide you over. Without that, potential disaster!
