Coors Light is what I prefer! Bud Light is just nasty and I get an instant headache from the first sip.

I like Dos Equis with food, but cannot stand Sam Adams or Blue Moon. Way too heavy. And I have great respect for beers like Guinness but prefer to not need a spoon when I drink a beer (its so thick!).

I'm the opposite of a beer snob. I like cheap domestic beers.

I never liked Sam Adams, either. I prefer much lighter beers. Michelob Ultra, in fact, which is essentially beer flavored water.

The hefeweizen at our local Hofbrauhaus is quite tasty though, and I acquired a taste for Red Stripe in Jamaica.

The really dark beers seem to be a guy thing, though I'm sure some woman will come along to prove the exception to that rule.

Mic Ultra is okay, but that is almost TOO light.

I have a friend who likes the dark beers. She and her husband are true beer snobs, and she loves to try unusual dark beers that taste like coffee to me. He husband always teases me about my Coors or Miller Lite. I don't care, they can have their coffee beer :P

Phffft.

Blue Moon's nothing special, it wants to be Hoegaarden when it grows up, but meh ... Sam Adams is alright, as is Dos Equis (tho I prefer Pacifico or perhaps Victoria depending on the day).

Now, if you want a REAL non-watered down beer, go for a Duvel or La Fin Du Monde. About 3-4 of either of them & you outta be good to go for the night.

I prefer Ales over Beers
One I really like is Stone Brewing Company's "Arrogant Bastard" Ale..

The brewery is located in Escondido, CA. Next time I am in LV I plan to take a tour of the brewery....

FUNNY-- every time I order that ale and the waiter/waitress brings it to our table, they know that is the one I ORDERED !!
You can find it at the Yard House restaurant at Red Rock.
