They were stealing the little copper vases that people use to put flowers at their loved one's grave sites for awhile there.
A guy at the nursery also told me that they had some guy roll up in a truck and steal several bags of composted steer manure.

We have been having instances of people stealing blocks of metal from town war memorials. Lists of war dead from the two World Wars, made of bronze, the police assume sold to scrap metal dealers.

Some of these street performers make between $400-1700 a day. Is it worth it? I have not gotten kicked in the sack in a looooong time so I can't remember how it feels. But hey, you gotta do what you gotta do...but ouch.
