Good for watching porn, too.
I can do all of that on my phone. No need for ANOTHER device, IMO. I found a case for my Kindle on ebay for like $4 that has a kickstand. It's nice for reading while I am eating or even laying in the sun. I prop it up when I lay on my stomach.

What's a recipe?

And who needs porn? HAHA

Are you guys still chatting? I gave up on this chat thread about ten years ago because I couldn't keep up.

Anywho, I see yer talkin' 'bout ebooks vs. book books. I am reading a book book from the lieberry and can't wait to finish it so I can go back to my iPad. I find the iPad so much better, especially for reading in bed when mo'lady is asleep. On my iPad, if I hit a word I need to define, all I have to do is tap the word and I get my dictionary program. I can buy books at discounts from iTunes, Amazon, etc., and even download books from the lieberry. So much easier reading the iPad than holding a heavy book and losing your place every now and then. So much easier to take on a plane, etc. Today I got an email from iTunes telling me about books by my favorite authors that are coming out. I was able to preorder with one click and when it comes out it will download onto my iPad automatically. I was also able to browse other books and picked up some novellas for $1.99 each. My wife reads a lot of magazines. She just discovered that she can get the mags that she has to pay for on the LVCC Public Library app for free.

We also have a Sony reader which is like reading a paperback, but hardly use it now that we have iPads. If only I could afford to get an iPad mini I be set.

To each his own, and it's great that the underlying theme here is that people still just like to read...I enjoy both "book books" as Buzz puts it, and my Nook. I initially resisted the Nook because my personality held on the traditional notion of a physical book, but after using my husband's that I bought him for a birthday gift, I ended up buying my own. I find it pretty handy when I go to B & N to just walk around and dl the titles I've been wanting to read. Prevents me from adding to the clutter I'm trying to keep to a minimum after moving out here two years ago ;-) Although I'll agree wholeheartedly with NLVGal that a nice cozy room with cushy furniture and a fireplace and wall to wall bookshelves is my idea of comfort.

I saved a few books that bring back good memories of my childhood--an ancient volume of Grimm's Fairy Tales that my mother had when she was a kid is one of them, the complete Dark Tower series from Stephen King is another--but I'm finding as I get older that it's easier for me to accept the digital age and use my Nook for reading before bed. I'll always love the feeling of libraries and old used books stores, though; I think it comes from certain personalities who grew up with a physical book in their hand and who just love reading for the sake of reading. Will have to check out Bauman's Rare Books at some point...

5.56mm
9mm
7.62mm
.50 BMG

Thats the most common that we train with. I heard that there is a gun club on base that does bullet repacking with all the left over shells we collect. I haven't confirmed it though.

Everyone in the valley wants our left over brass so there may be some competition there.

7.62 x 51(.308 win) is what I'm looking for. I have the others and can't afford to shoot a .50 BMG. I'm sure there are a few there making a couple bucks. About $150 per 1000 right now.
