Default Happy Fourth

Looking forward to checking out the new dog. Old one was absolutely terrified so we have been off the fourth fireworks for ten years. The new one responds but does not appear unhappy...just howls back.

As to Mother many thinks for the condolences. She was a grand old lady and did well until October when she fell. The nomal problem of the hospital and rehab facility trying to end her days. Bed sores, wrong medicatios etc. She then survived crisis after crisis and was actually getting better to the point of a nursing home at least. Hyperbaric treatments has done wonders for her wounds and she was coming around. Then a minor pneumonia. Past away in her sleep to the surprise of both doctors and children.

Mother, Grandmother, Greatgrandmother, Friend. Argumentative, difficult, opinionated, perhaps too smart for her own good. Graduated from all her degrees magna/summa cumlaude. Lawyer, VP at Prentice Hall, Chairman of the American Bar Association Committee on Taxation.

Knew Wilbur Mills well before he went swimming.

Grand old broad. The world is smaller on her departure.

Happy Fourth of July, everyone. I pray that you all have a safe and sane celebration with your family and friends. Now that hopefully airics has safely made his way to Vegas, and Kimba is back home, I would like to call for a DDO at Matryoshka. It's on the south end of town, a couple of doors down from the Bootlegger Bistro; the scene of the crime from a previous DDO. I've checked them out, and they'll fit our needs nicely. My schedule is still very flexible, the better to give everyone who wishes to do so, a chance to attend.

I got a great Kenwood deck, which I'm able to plug my iPod into with the USB plug. It sounds great. Shall I post a picture of it?

I have become a total westerner. Can no longer stand the east. Got in Monday afternoon and out Wednesday morning and actually wished we could do it a lot quicker. Humid, mildewed, run down, badly maintained. The only thing it is is green.

No more...they can come out here. Unless we got to bury another.
OleCapt, I'm mostly a lurker here but have gotten familiar with a few folks and you're one of them. I have to post now to send condolences to you. You're always trying to help folks with real estate type q's and deserve good karma. So, here's to you being the head of the clan for a long time coming.
