I'm just grateful if we are well away from the late night music on Fremont Street!! I didn't know all the other hotels have started charging resort fees. Last time we were there, the Fremont, and Main Street Station didn't charge.
The Fremont, The Cal, and Main Street Station (Boyd properties) started charging resort fees at the end of April. I had considered the Fremont for this past weekend (I have stayed there a few times), but once that news broke, I'm done staying there. the fee is $14.95 per night. For NOTHING. Plus tax.

Reservation Total: $65.00
Tax: $8.45
Resort Fee: $14.99
Resort Fee Tax: $1.95
Resort Fee Total: $16.94
Total with Tax: $90.39

I love the 4Q staff, too. They always go over and above.

As for astrology, tarot, etc. I'm somewhere in the middle. What I have found in my life is that attitude plays a large part in the outcome of a situation.

When I'm in a positive mood positive things seem to revolve around me. Negative, well crap happens.

Just the opposite here, when I start to think positively, crap happens, when thinking negatively, then things happen. Weird, huh?

With my housing closing on 5/31 I've been feverishly trying to find a house in Tucson where someone would be willing to do it on a contingency basis. I'll get all excited about the possibility of buying this house or that house, thinking positively, and I've lost out on all 4 of those houses, so now I'm going to rent a house for a year.

Positive thinking? Just not in my vocabulary!

My niece is one of these Lucky Leo's. She divorced her workaholic entrepreneur of 10 years, and settled for a few million plus she got their palatial home which she sold and retired to a lake in Wisconsin. and at 47, will never have to work again. Shortly after the divorce, she connected up with the man of her dreams who's living with her now.

These kind of people you'd like to strangle!

There is no such thing as luck and I think horoscopes, tarot, etc are all a load of crap! Nothing happens for a reason, stuff just happens.

I converted an old fashioned whirly pop to a home coffee roaster. I like coffee more than popcorn.

That's a great idea! Where do you like to get your coffee beans from?

Folks, I think I'm going to follow a couple of other posters, and dip out of this site. Many of you have already met me in person, and have my contact information. For those of you that don't, DM me. BTW, Merry Lee Gather, ScoopLV, and MacGeek are all fine. And they wish you all well.

OK...whoever's giving NLVgal crap...please stop it. I'm sure she has a whole lot more mob stories that she may be able to share some day...Do you really want to miss out on that?
