LOL! There are posters on the LV threads that, if they were completely honest in doing this, would never post.

Haha umm no... that’s not true. You can’t pump your gas almost anywhere in Oregon. The only thing that changed is a TINY county of 40,000 or fewer that has a stand-alone gas station, so rural OR, you can pump your own gas. That doesn’t apply to the 97% of us living in Portland metro, Eugene metro, etc. Here people aren’t even aware of that law change as it affects nobody who isn’t living in the middle of nowhere

But yes to your other point, Portland sucks and it’s not welcoming to anyone even people born here unless you tow the party line and use the word “comrade” If you value weather at all, it’s a bad place to be. For people with SAD, it’s the worst. I tried the light lamp thing just because, why not, and it was ok. I got rid of it when I knew I was packing to move to Vegas. Sun from the sky is better.

You'll be happier in Vegas, JonathanLB. At least because of the sunnier climate. I like Vegas, and, who knows, I might like Friendly Ford.

As an advocate of compromise, I quite like the orange model with black wheels.

All right then, the Las Vegas Committee on Best Ford Purchase Options has decided on Orange Spice with the painted Black wheels. Sounds like a plan.

It seems to me new cars are getting uglier and uglier by the day. So, so many look alike and when you go to find your car in a parking lot, it can be confusing. I really think the designers have drained their imaginations in coming with some new streamlined looking car. What a challenge to a car designer. Manufacturer: Design a tail light that hasn't been seen before! Good luck with that one!

Time to bring back the hidden headlights (like on my 1985 Toyota Supra which is for sale at $499.950) and add some fins, something to make them more distinctive again.

After I found a mechanic shop here in Tucson which told me they'll always find parts for my car and promise to keep it on the road for the next 20 years, no new car is on the horizon for me!

You can thank the government for that. With all the regulations regarding where they can put what, they can only do so much.
The second part is branding. They all want you to immediately know that all their cars belong to their company.
