That is extremely rare to get that kind of score. My score has hovered around the high 400's to low 500's for the last 5 years. I managed to get 2 credit cards that finally raised it to 655. It took a year and a half to even do that.

actually it is harder now with the economy crap to get in the 800s.... my wife and i float around a 740-780 score.

drunk.. here is some advice.... go to creditboards.com and read the posts... it is not that hard to raise your score... it is all about the ratios.... i just got a jarred jewelry card with a 6000 limit... i will never use it but its worth the inquiry (-5 points) to add to available credit (+40 points)...

Oh come on Pink, haven't you been reading the threads lately? We are hardly Stepfordville, we are a city of racists, rude and crass people who live in a trash-strewn area. LMAO.

I don't know about where you live, but where I came from in Ashburn, VA, that was Stepfordville. Everyone in my community tried to have the perfect house, lawn, car, lives, etc. Yuck. I loved my house, hated the area and was glad to get out of that environment.

I've been 830 most of my life and have never done anything unusual except pay all bills before due date. I do that because basically I'm cheap and like to take the discount if offered. Other than that, I'm like everyone else who has to live within a budget and watch my money.
