You have to DM- Marka or Yac, the senior moderators of the site.

'zackly. Only the two Sr Mods can effect the change of the user name. Sending such a request to the Admin will only delay the change, he doesn't do such things, he forwards them to the Sr. Mods, I think.

Katie: I checked, Crazy Katie is currently not in use. Go for it. Send a DM to Yac or Marka.

The regular mods can answer most inquiries, send a DM to a mod. We have an FAQ for name changes, found in the About the Forum area in the FAQ list. The FAQ list is the best place to start for routine inquiries about site operation. If anyone hasn't seen it, please take a moment to look it over, especially those who are unclear about using the Quote function, or how Realtors are expected to behave on here, etc.

I have to say considering the way the job opportunities have gone on since the pandemic started, I’m really stuck between a rock and a hard place. Before the pandemic, the Maroge was willing to absorb me and take me on as an employee. But because of the pandemic, they sent me an email saying that they were not going to hire me and that my job position was “canceled“. OK fine.

During the lockdowns, I got a phone call from the manager who hired me at the Wynn, and she told me that I would still have a job once the pandemic was over and when the property reopened. While I went to see them at the Wynn employment center last week, and it turns out my job is still up in the air if that makes sense.

I now have a five figure savings account because of the extra $600 a week. And if I need to use that money to go back home, so be it

Maybe you should reinvent yourself. As in, find a new job not related to the casino industry. A lot of that is up in the air these days, although several casino's have now re-opened. But, what if they all close again? Which could happen the way this country is so messed up now. You worked in a grocery store before coming out here, try that. Smiths is always hiring. It would be a nice steady job. Which gets you steady paychecks.

I did notice that you referred to the state you moved from as "home." If you feel you must go back, and you really love the idea, then you shouldn't let anything stop you from going home. Get re-hired at the store you worked at before and stay put. A nice steady paycheck until you retire. A lot of people do it. You start off low and work up to managing the place. Nothing wrong with good steady employment. Good luck whatever you decide to do.

Find self employment. I still sell online and make $600-$1000 a week in profit. Vegas was fantastic for sourcing compared in Florida. If I knew then what I know now, I probably wouldn’t have moved. If I beat the cancer, I may just move back.

Reminds me of a craft in which your house turns into the look of a salvage yard. Hey, turn this in to an automotive salvage business. Yeah, right. Soon you'd need about 10,000 more square feet of storage.

I sell on ebay. My inventory takes up about 1/4 of one of my spare rooms.
