I agree, it was very dangerous, but a lot of coffee enabled me to do it. I also was driving a modified Probe turbo so I drove quite fast.

800 miles is a very long driving day. Where are you making the two stops Davie?

Just to give you an idea, If you started from Miami, Florida, and headed west (well, north and then west), you could drive for 11 hours and still not be out of the state of Florida!

thats true. if orlando is 450 miles to pensacola, that would put miami at about 700 miles from pensacola!

The fact that you're willing to do this shows your sincerity in wanting the job and that you're a real go-getter. I'm not totally sure, but letting them know at the interview about the lengths you went to get there for it, might reflect positively on you.

I was gonna rep that post but I have to spread some love

I'll keep that in mind, and I was actually planning on doing that in the interview(s)

I once spent 3 weeks driving around Gr. Britain in the late 80's, some time spent on your fabulous motorways, where driving at 110MPH in my Vauxhall, there were English Rovers passing me by going 120/130? Can you still drive that fast over there?

If we had those speed limits here, I'd do more cross-country trips. Las Vegas to L.A. or Phoenix in 2.5 hours, how sweet that would be!

Airics,

Can you check on the minimum age on this job. Davie just told me he will need a sheriff's card which would require him to be 21. He does not turn 21 until December.
