I'm wiped out from my Utah trip from yesterday. All that hiking/biking/and touring did me in. I am not fond of bars anyway, so you all have fun.

I have lived in Vegas for about 12 to 13 years, and I have heard of the Lied Children's Museum, but was thinking that it would be a joke like the Las Vegas Zoo. Well we have our nephew in town, so I decided to take him and my daughter there. I have to say that I really liked it. Not in the best part of town. But my daughter had a lot of fun, and so did I. My nephew who is about to be 15, was just like whatever, but that is a teenager for you. He got into some of the stuff.

So just wanted any families out there that have not tried it, I would suggest taking the kids! Especially in the summer, something that will keep you cool and entertain the children.

The BIL just called. He will bring an extra "stick" Aqua. Hope all of you have a great time. I am off to pack my suitcase now.

Now he needs to see some Jethro Tull, and Anime. He had the pleasure of meeting my iggies, he will telll you more amount them. We are leaving in 10 minutes.

Please know that I am not responsible for the opinions or actions of my BIL. He sounded "cheerful" when I spoke to him earlier. "Cheerful" is a euphemism for drunk. I hope to get details of this DDO from you and lvd.

I hope you all have fun, I am jealous but I couldn't make it! I was there Thursday night, we stayed a night at the Orleans. I was impressed for a smaller type hotel. Had to take the teens out! Dang, it was hot and we walked FOREVER!!! I saw absolutely NO signs of economic troubles, it was SO packed on the Strip!

Continuing the tourism job, we went to Fremont tonight. I didn't think it was as crowded as usual, but it was still busy. Couple of the bars, like Beauty Bar and Las Vegas Rocks were empty, but maybe they don't get busy until later as it was only about 10 pm.

Keep me posted on a July DDO, I may be able to make that one!

Aside from the aforementioned people, one else showed up. Not too much of a belated birthday party, really. Am I upset? No, I'm used to being dissapointed.
