What kind of background checks do they do on the people who clean rooms on the strip?

afaik, all non-gaming personnel require a sheriffs card, which is background and fingerprints.
a few occupations are excepted from this.

Something different about the guy, he was naked! lol I thought that's something i haven't seen yet. Apparently he went to the pool, took off all his clothes and then scared the heck out of the kids! in the pool and an adult in the pool area saw him and then called security and the cops.
We went to the store, and while coming back, a few more cops sped by in the direction of our neighborhood with sirens blaring. By the end of it, there were 7 police cars, 1 fire and rescue truck and 1 ambulance to take the naked guy to the psychiatric ward.
Sorry pink, the wind blew my towel away.

Yes, but it sounds like the nice ambulance crew quickly found a straight jacket to replace it.

Congrats on buying your new home, JJ. There are lots of great dog parks in Vegas.

Something good happened to me today. I applied on line with MGM a couple of days ago for oncall show ticket sales. They called me today to schedule an interview for next Wednesday. I just hope that I don't have to go thru twenty follow up interviews! I miss the old days when you had one interview, and you were either hired, or not hired. I'll report back the results of the interview.

Good for you Aqua, I do think you'll go through 2 interviews.

Just before I took over the business, MGM had control of the golf course down at Primm Valley so I interviewed to work there as a player assistant. I had one interview at the corporate office and one interview with the director of golf operations down at Primm. I was offered the job about a month later but I turned it down which turned out to be the right decision as it would have been a terrible commute.

As I remember, they have great benefits and is a good company. Good luck.

Thanks, Golf. From what I hear, it's a pretty busy deparment, so hopefully I can on with them pretty quickly. Besides great pay, you get free show tickets.
